Comedy
During my master’s program, I wrote a spec sitcom as my final project. To improve my joke-writing skills and understand a comedian’s perspective, I decided to explore the world of stand-up comedy. I studied with Ricky Crom at the iconic Comedy Cellar in New York and quickly fell in love with the craft. I even had the chance to perform at renowned venues like Dangerfield’s, the Comedy Cellar, and Broadway Comedy Club. While I’m not performing at the moment, it’s definitely something I plan to return to in the future
Life on a leash
Life on a Leash is a sitcom about three immigrants navigating the challenges of life in New York City. While they hustle to make ends meet, they go to great lengths to maintain the illusion of a glamorous, trouble-free existence for their friends and families back in their home countries

In the summer of 2020, during the early months of the pandemic, I brought together a group of friends—remotely, of course—and we created Casos de Podcast. It was a lighthearted, short-format podcast where three or more people tackled surprise topics in just five minutes. Recorded in Portuguese, the episodes are available on Spotify. While it only had one season, I’m already planning a brand-new podcast, set to launch as early as January 2025
